This Shipping Policy outlines our shipping terms and expectations for all transactions on Wax Trader. All orders include FREE shipping for buyers — there are no shipping costs at checkout.

2. Shipping for Buyers

Free Shipping

All products on Wax Trader include FREE shipping. There are no additional shipping costs added to your order.

Processing Time

Sellers are expected to ship orders within 2 business days, excluding preorders.

Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times (after shipping) vary by location:

  • Domestic (US): 3–7 business days

Tracking Information

Once your order ships, you will receive:

  • Email notification
  • Access to tracking information in your order history
  • Real-time delivery updates

3. Shipping for Sellers

Seller Responsibilities

As a seller on Wax Trader, you are responsible for:

  • Covering the cost of shipping for all orders
  • Shipping items within stated timeframes
  • Proper packaging to prevent damage during transit
  • Providing accurate tracking information
  • Ensuring items are properly insured if valuable
  • Responding to buyer shipping inquiries within 24 hours

Packaging Requirements

All items must be packaged securely to prevent damage:

  • Use sturdy boxes or padded envelopes
  • Protect corners and edges of sealed product boxes
  • Include padding/bubble wrap for fragile items
  • Seal packages securely with proper tape

4. Shipping Methods

Sellers may use any standard shipping carrier. Common options include:

  • USPS (United States Postal Service)
  • UPS (United Parcel Service)

5. International Shipping

Currently, Wax Trader primarily serves the United States. International shipping may be available on a case-by-case basis determined by individual sellers. Buyers are responsible for:

  • Any customs duties or import taxes
  • Providing accurate international addresses
  • Understanding international delivery timelines

6. Shipping Insurance (ParcelGuard)

When creating a shipping label through Wax Trader, sellers have the option to add shipping insurance powered by ParcelGuard. ParcelGuard protects shipments against loss, damage, and theft during transit.

Coverage Details

  • Covers up to $10,000 per package for domestic and international shipments
  • Protects against loss, damage, and theft from an external cause while in transit
  • Coverage is on a per-package basis based on the declared value
  • Items must not be shipped in original manufacturer packaging that reveals the contents

Filing a Claim

If your insured package is lost or damaged, you can file a claim directly through ParcelGuard. A claim link is provided on the shipping label page after the label is created with insurance.

  • Claims must be filed within 120 days of the shipment date
  • Keep all packaging material and damaged goods in their original form
  • Take photos of any damage immediately upon discovery
  • A claim statement signed by the recipient will be required
  • Claims are reviewed within 24–48 hours by a ParcelGuard representative
  • Payment is issued via emailed check or PayPal once approved

Exclusions

Certain items cannot be insured by ParcelGuard, including perishables, cash, documents, televisions, tobacco products, and firearms. For the full list of exclusions, coverage conditions, and terms, see the ParcelGuard Terms and Conditions.

7. Lost or Damaged Packages

Lost Packages

If your package is lost in transit:

  • Contact the seller first to investigate
  • File a claim with the shipping carrier
  • Contact Wax Trader support if not resolved
  • Refund or replacement will be issued once confirmed lost

Damaged Packages

If your package arrives damaged:

  • Take photos of the damage immediately
  • Contact the seller with photos and description
  • File a claim with the carrier
  • Full refund or replacement will be provided

8. Address Changes

Address changes are not supported after an order is placed. If you need to update your shipping address, you must cancel the order and place a new one.
